Starting Lineup

Dan Burn A constant threat on corners and free-kicks, per usual, could serve as a replacement for Stones at the back instead of paired with him. A loose pass later in the match nearly resulted in the first goal for the visitors. Six

The young full-back A further assured showing from the youngster following his initial appearance against another side. A teammate did not capitalize on the opportunity from a gorgeous flick behind their defense. The role is his to lose so soon. Seven

The newcomer His maiden beginning with the national team. A bit loose in possession though his inswinging corners were a threat. A handy pace-controller for the manager to have against sides that sit back. Booked after a reckless challenge. Six

Declan Rice Crosses from corners and free kicks were dangerous. Had freedom to drift down the left flank yet found himself in an offside position upon receiving in front of goal. Granted a well-earned substitution after an hour. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high role out wide while also did plenty of defensive duties. Demonstrated moments of class but scuffed an effort high. Replaced towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. 7

The winger Was presented with England’s best chance before halftime, his shot smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. As Quansah holding position, it fell to him to provide width on the right yet his deliveries into the box were inconsistent. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. Six

Harry Kane The difference-maker with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes at international level. The first a trademark poacher’s finish and his next a superb headed goal having drifted away from his marker. Aged 32, he’s only getting better with the national team are strong contenders next summer when he's in the team. Eight

The attacker Struggled to make an impact out wide. Was presented with a good opening when set up by Bellingham but Strakosha denied him. Rashford produced a bigger an impact in his place. 5
