Combatants chuckle as they travel on the back of a transport truck, racing by a series of multiple corpses and moving towards the descending Sudanese evening sky.

"Look at all this work. See this genocide," a combatant exclaims.

He beams as he points the video equipment on his person and his fellow militiamen, their Rapid Support Forces badges visible: "The victims are all going to perish like this."

The combatants are exulting in a mass killing that relief organizations fear killed more than thousands of individuals in the Sudanese urban center of al-Fashir last month.

A Community Cut Off from the World

After maintaining the community under blockade for nearly 24 months, from the summer the militia advanced to reinforce its dominance and restrict the remaining inhabitants.

Space-based imagery reveal that troops commenced to construct a massive sand wall - a elevated sand barrier - encircling the perimeter of el-Fasher, sealing off entry points and preventing aid.

During the encirclement escalated, 78 individuals were slain in an RSF assault on a place of worship on mid-September, while the United Nations said fifty-three more were murdered in aerial and heavy weapon strikes on a makeshift community in October.

Graphic Video Shows Unarmed Civilians Executed

In the early morning on October 26th the paramilitary force defeated the final government defenses and captured the central compound in the urban area, the main facility of the Army Division, as the military withdrew.

Paramilitary Officers Seek to Conduct Damage Control

Updates presenting its combatants distributing assistance to residents were circulated by various users, while the force's communications team released multiple clips claiming to demonstrate the compassionate handling of government captives.

Regardless of the social media campaign being deployed by the RSF, their actions in al-Fashir have generated international condemnation.
